We hope Michigan citizens who believes in the Constitution will speak out while they still can. If there are indeed moderate moslems--we hope they will speak out and also be consider the families who lost their loved ones in 9/11 and not insist on their way of building the mosque at Ground Zero which is hallowed ground and should never be a place for a moslem victory site--or anything that smells like it.

Along with rights comes responsibilities to use it honorably-something the Founders knew but most do not today (ex--when pornography is called artistic expressions.)

 We hope the citizens of New York will prevail on Mayor Bloomberg and hopefully the rest of America will speak out on this. One way is through the petitition at this website prayinjesusname.org--please check it out and get involved while this is still the land of the free.

Many churches today needs to come back to glorifying God instead of their buildings and caring for the souls that are outside and that are in the middle of today's culture wars. Many of those hurting are children and families that are pawns for an agenda. Can parents and grandparents really afford to be quiet and uninvolved? Interview on 8-17-10 with John Bernard discusses his memories about his son Lance Cpl. Joshua Bernard KIA 8-09 in Afghanistan.  As we talk about his great loss, one can't help but be inspired by this family and their love for God and Country.  This love is so strong that despite the loss they can push forward to continue on in the fight in whatever capacity they can.  They remind us that we too must be a part of preserving this God-blessed nation that many great men and women have give their very best for.  What a family--what a God and what a Country.   Let us not forget the Joshua Bernards and with God we will see them someday in that eternally heavenly place.  Hope you will be there too meanwhile let us persevere.

Common Core Standards--Federalizing the Educational System

The enemy knows that quote well to the point they can probably almost taste their success because they have practically removed the defenders of the family from most American homes.  Fathers are many times absent and so are the mothers.  Many children are either latch key kids or being raised by their grandparents.  Sexual and drug addictions are being promoted/supported rather blatantly in the movies, in homes on televisions and many adults no longer see their role as parents to their offsprings. 

The parents who are trying to take care of their families are inundated with the woes and cares of maitaining a job, preserving what money they get in light of today's problems with the economy and looming insurance uncertainties for their families health care.  Those in the military protecting their nation have special problems that makes the task of parenting harder.

So most of us are distracted when they try to put in place the federalizing of this nation's educational system.  Listen to this podcast and share it.  Let it serve as a wake-up call as Abe Lincoln quotes a warning for us.  It is time America to rebuild the wall and set this nation back to the right course.  It begins with each of us protecting our own.  You don't want to be surprised at what they will be teaching your children--make a difference today with knowing the truth about what is in Obama's Common Core Standards.

UN Convention on The Rights of a Child VS Parental Rights

Some of things in the  UN CRC:

Children can choose their own religion while parents would only have the authority to give their children advice about religion.

It would give the government the ability to override every decision made by every parent if a government worker disagreed with the parent’s decision.

A child’s “right to be heard” would allow him (or her) to seek governmental review of every decision the child disagreed.

Christian schools that refuse to teach “alternative worldviews” and teach that Christianity is the only true religion goes against aritcle 29 of the treaty.

Allowing parents to opt their children out of sex education has been held to be out of compliance with the CRC.

The Obama administration has set this as a goal--hope you will take a stand.  Barbara Boxer is one of the leaders pressing this issue.  Go to parentalrights.org and join in making your Congress work in helping ensure the rights of parents of this nation is not nullified by a United Nations treaty that this administration will be trying to pass in the Senate under the radar.  The onslaught on American freedoms and the economy is so great that this issue is dangerously being overlooked. 

Parents be warned as no one can stop them but informed parents!  Share and pray and act to make a difference for you are your child's best defender under God.  These are trying times we live in where America is being tried and hopefully we will be found true.  It reminds me of the days of the Founding Fathers.

 Familiar letters of John Adams and his wife Abigail Adams During The Revolution--the words of Abigail Adams are great reminders and worth studying these parents of the past who had great love for God and country.

We have been left a great legacy and great weapon by the Founding Fathers with the inspiration from Almighty God-the Constitution-let us use it for such a time as this. 

There is a new group called Christian Resolute Women (see them on facebook) that wants the churches to wake up and help fight this massive issue that seems unstoppable.  It will take a miracle as this is one of their highest goal--it will definitely change America if we do not stop it.

Mosab Hassan Yousef-Don't Let Him Be Deported--Why destroy an asset in the prevention of a repeat of 9/11

Please read our earlier articles on this son of a Hamas Founder, Mosab Hassan Yousef, who met his Savior and freed him from hate which has been prevalent in the middle east.  This young man is a testimony to how God's grace can effect a change no peace plan by any government can bring.  Indeed, he is a prime example of what we want to see happen in the minds and culture of the middle east--a respect for life.  The transformation everyone has been seeking is found in this young man and yet this administration instead of embracing and proclaiming the good news from such a world changing attitude-maybe sending him back and to his death.

I am sorry Mosab Hassan Yousef has seen the not so good side of America.  It is not everywhere but it is there amongs those who maybe blinded to the truth in front of them.    I daresay those trying to deport him are following the nth letter of the law--they think to the best of their ability--but they forgot the spirit of the law.  The same mindset has sprung up in many areas of our government where the Original Intent has been overlooked. 

But there is hope because many  Americans who truly want to do what is right as they truly love this land of the free-home of the brave will be writing to Homeland Security and asking that deportation hearing be cancelled.  I pray those in the Department of Homeland Security will see the truth for I believe they too, really love their country, their families.  They just need a little help to realize the truth that having such a man is an asset, an incredible resource and a gift from God in this fight on the war on terror.  I know 9/11 seems distant but in an instant the pain can come again if we are not vigilant and I dare say there is hope because bottom line those in Homeland Security seeks to truly do just that--keep our Homeland--our families, our children-- safe.   

I pray they will see they must use everything they can to prevent a repeat of the hell on earth suffered by many on 9/11 and that Mosab Hassan Yousef, will be seen as indeed the very help they can not afford to turn away!  A reminder of that event--click here.  Here is a link to an interview with him by Jewish Television.

Praise be to God from whom all blessings flow.  Again He has shown this is his nation which when his foundations are followed--men can indeed be free.  What an awesome testimony the deportation hearing of Yousef is about our awesome God.  Watch video on this:
